Hi Beauties,
Today I bring you a review of my newfound skincare products, Kleem Organics Advanced Retinol Moisturiser and Vitamin C Serum. I have been trés busy working and minding the kids so haven’t had much time to blog lately! However, my youngest started back at creche the other day and now I have a few spare moments in the morning, yay!
I am so happy to be back to my beloved blog, I have missed it! So I thought I would share my latest natural skincare finds with you. As you may know, I love retinol and although not a natural product, it is derived from vitamin A and to be honest, it seems to work miracles for me! I normally only use natural products in my beauty arsenal but retinol is a holy grail product in my eyes so I use it every night.
You may have read my post on Facetheory retinol on the blog, which is how I began reintroducing it into my regime. I had a bad experience with retinol many years back when I tried Retin A. It peeled my skin and left my face raw red. That was, however a medical grade prescription from a dermatologist which is much harsher.
Since then, I had naturally steered clear of retinol for a long, long time. Having sensitive skin, I was worried it would strip my skin. Luckily, I have my skin under control thanks to using natural skincare, my saviour!
When I did finally try retinol again, I was amazed by the results. Bear in mind that the retinol I use now is mixed with gentle and natural ingredients so it is much kinder and gentler on my sensitive skin. I reckon it is worth a try for someone who may have sensitive skin and is afraid of retinol. I highly recommend the Face Theory one, as mentioned before and also this new one, Kleem Organics Advanced Retinol Moisturiser.
Retinol helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and skin discolouration. For me, it has worked like a dream. I would go as far as to say it has been the most powerful asset to my skincare regime thus far. I definitely noticed a reduction in fine lines and pigmentation. Since using Kleem Organics Advanced Retinol Moisturiser for only 2 weeks, I have noticed smoother and softer skin with less discolouration!
Kleem Organics are cruelty free, do not contain parabens and use natural and organic ingredients 🙂
I did notice that when I first started using the Facetheory Regenacalm too. I think it is safe to say that its no coincidence retinol is improving my skin. It is the only scientifically proven skincare product to aid in anti-ageing. Here is a bit about the Kleem Organics Advanced Retinol Moisturiser –
A lightweight formula for dry to oily skin (I guess that covers all skin types)
Hydrates and nourishes skin
Doesn’t clog pores
Formuated with 5 bio-active ingredients – 2.5% Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Green Tea and Jojoba Oil
Restores elasticity and firmness
Note* Retinol increases sun sensitivity so you need to wear SPF every day when using, even if only at night. Very important. I use Sun Fragma and there is SPF 25 in my foundation too.
You can actually wear Kleem Organics Advanced Retinol Moisturiser under makeup during the day too but I just use it at night alone. Apparently it works more efficiently when used in conjunction with Kleem Organics Professional Age-Defying Vitamin C serum. I have been using that in the mornings with my moisturiser.
Here is a bit about Kleem Organics Professional Age-Defying Vitamin C serum –
An anti-oxidant rich refreshing elixir with no harsh chemicals
Contains a patented Stay-C 50 technology
The most stable, bio-available form of vitamin C
Combats the appearance of rough texture
Combats appearance of fatigue, puffiness, dull and discoloured skin
Gives a youthful, radiant and healthy looking skin
I am really enjoying both products and they smell divine. I adore orange blossom scent and they glide on effortlessly and absorb quickly. The packaging is great and so easy to use. The retinol tub has a new kind of pump that you press on and it gives the exact amount needed for face and neck. Any leftover product I slather on my hands.
I wash my face with a natural cleanser at night, such as Antipodes Juliet cleanser, which I will be doing a review on asap. Then I go straight for my Kleem retinol moisturiser! That is it, it is so quick and easy. I had to simplify my regime as I didn’t have time at night anymore so it is ideal.
In the morning I like to wash my face and use my serums as before from Facetheory’s Vitamin Super Hero kit.
I no longer use the retinol moisturiser as I ran out but I use my new Kleem Organics Professional Age-Defying Vitamin C serum and follow with a new organic moisturiser which I will be doing a post on soon as I love it. That wraps up my morning skincare routine and I am loving the energetic burst of vitamin C in the AM.
In the 2 weeks that I have been using the Kleem Organics Professional Age-Defying Vitamin C serum in the mornings and Advanced Retinol Moisturiser in the evenings, I have noticed a FANTASTIC improvement in the overall condition of my skin.
I recommend the brand, especially these two products and they are using mainly wildcrafted and organic natural products. Check them out if you get a chance. Do tell me if they work as well for you! I love hearing your feedback.
Bye for now and chat soon,
Ciara xxx
