Bonjour Beautés!
Well I am over the moon to announce that I am a judge for the Clean Beauty Awards 2021! I was a judge for last years Clean Beauty Awards too and that was a brilliant opportunity to try out some of the top brands in the clean beauty industry.
I was so happy to be chosen as a judge again this year. It really is an honor. Plus, I get to try out even more of the amazing natural cosmetics that I love! This year I had the luck to try a range of different products and some were really outstanding.
A couple of months ago I received my boxes of goodies in the post. It was such a nice surprise as I didn’t know what I was going to be trying this year. I got some pamperish body care products, a range of lipsticks and some amazing face serums and moisturizers. Even a couple of nail varnishes. Lucky me!
So I began trying out each product, starting with the body care items. The first one that I immediately loved was the CBD infused body lotion, Element Apothec Nourish Lotion. Botanical infused broad spectrum CBD + CBG lotion (1000mg)
Element Apothec Nourish Lotion
The second product that really stood out to me was the Jasmine body cream by Minimalist. I really adore the scent, its so addictive! Very moisturizing too and a lovely consistency.
The lipsticks were a welcome addition to my makeup drawer. Yup, I have a makeup drawer now since I realized I had 4 or 5 makeup bags full of different stuff. I decided to dedicate a big drawer in my bathroom cabinet for all of it. Mainly so that I can organize it properly and be able to find what I need easily. I recommend it!
The lipsticks that will be staying in my makeup drawer for certain were :
Hynt Beauty Aria Pure lipstick in Bellini Nude
Mismack moisture locking lipstick – Patty Mae 1420 (with $5 donated to Habitat for Humanity)
Yulip lipstick in Yam 0401J
The facial serums were received with glee 🙂 🙂 since I am obsessed with face serums. I wanted to give each serum a decent trial so I used each one for a week at least. If I loved a particular one, I would continue to use it during the day while trying others at night. There were some oils that I used only at night due to having oily skin.
The serums that stood out as being particularly good for me were –
Sanré Hemp Revival hemp, chia and sea buckthorn serum
Greenvines Know More Luminosity Serum
Verify Power Trip Pytoglycogen & AHA Serum
Alaska Glacial Essentials aspenGlow Resveratrol + Hyaluronic Age-defying Youth Serum
Cocoon Apothecary Nordic Boost Hydrating Serum with fern and Iceland moss
Moisturizer
Nefertem Transform Natural Moisturizer with Helichrysum
Balms
La Vigne Mayan Magic Balm
Caley-Beth Shave Balm
The nail vanishes I received were from Kester Black, a New Zealand brand. They were very easy to apply, went on smoothly and with a quick application. They are breathable and non toxic.
So those were my top fave natural products which I am judging for the Clean Beauty Awards 2021. There were a lot of products – not all mentioned here but these were the ones that I felt were best for me. Some absolute gems this year so keep an eye out for this years winners!
I’ll be back soon for a review of some amazing new health supplements I am trying out at the moment.
Voilà, à trés bientôt!
