I am a huge natural skincare fan and I love reviewing my fave natural skincare brands. Today I am doing a BAO skincare review. I reached out to them as they are one of my top fave brands of the moment and luckily for moi, I got to sample some new items. BAO stands for Beth’s Aromatherapy Organic and that speaks for itself. I currently use the BAO Hydrating Rose Mist every morning and love it.

The lovely Beth, who is the creator of BAO skincare generously offered me a couple of free products to sample in exchange for an honest review. Needless to say I was over the moon to be trying out some gorgeous new natural beauty goodies. BAO natural skincare is handmade with love from 100% natural and nourishing ingredients. I literally want to try everything from the range!

A few days later my lovely BAO skincare products arrived promptly. It was a nice surprise and they came beautifully packaged. I felt like they were very thoughtfully wrapped like little gifts, so pretty in the yellow paper with stickers on. Here is what I got –

BAO Skincare Reviving Hand & Body Cream, 200ml. I do love a nice body lotion and this one is pure luxury. It is a really silky texture and glides on effortlessly. The scent is so aromatic and it really evokes a sense of energy with the citrus burst. The lingering scent is really addictive and not overpowering but not too subtle.

It leaves your skin feeling so soft and silky, it is really a top choice for a luxury natural body lotion and hand cream. Simply divine! It includes orange blossom, floral water, shea butter, aloe vera, calendula, mandarin peel oil and vitamin E with many organic ingredients. Massage it in and enjoy the uplifting energy and softest skin all day.

BAO Skincare Lip Saviour Lip Balm, 5ml. This is a lovely natural lip balm which comes in a handy tube applicator with a twist top. It helps repair, nourish and protect lips. It has a subtle cocoa smell which is nice due cocoa butter and contains organic ingredients. Handy to have on your person at all times. I even use it to tame my eyebrows. It had a little write-up in Natural Health Magazine in August 2018.

If you haven’t tried BAO skincare yet, you might be interested in their sample bag. It is a great way to try everything. You can literally try all (except the facial mist as it is a spray) the products from the range before buying! All samples are 5ml size and come in a lovely organic Fair Trade cotton bag. Cool!

There are some lovely gift sets too so check those out if you want to treat yourself or some other lucky loved one. You can even make your own gift by purchasing a little gift box on the website so if you have a fave product or products you can pair them and gift them too.

The Coconut Body Scrub is half price at the moment for only £8 so I think I will be treating myself to one of those! It got a write-up in Natural Health Magazine back in August 2018. Sounds gorgeous!

My firm favourite, the Hydrating Rose Mist got a mention in Brides Magazine October 2018. It is a refreshing facial mist that works as a toner. It is handmade with love and contains rose water and Hyaluronic Acid so a lovely way to start the day and minimise pores while nourishing the skin. All natural ingredients of course!

I must say, I really love the packaging and branding. All recyclable and so so pretty. I happily display the items grouped together in my bathroom on the sink and genuinely enjoy applying them daily. So natural, beautifully scented and pamperish. I can’t wait to try more from the range. I think I will order the sample bag and try them all. For only £19.50 it is most likely worth it. I feel an at-home spa day is in order! The BAO range would be perfect for that I’m sure.

The Recovery Face Cream and Nourish Urself treatment balm were also featured in Natural Health Magazine separately last year. BAO skincare are definitely a brand to watch and it is nice to see smaller Artisan and natural skincare brands doing so well. Natural skincare is definitely on the rise and for good reason. I just discovered that their website even has a really good blog on there. It covers natural skincare and focuses on helping you achieve glowing and healthy skin, covering various issues and caring for your skin type.

The customer service was really top-notch and for me that is really important. You really feel valued as a customer and Beth is so helpful and kind. She has over 10 years experience in the beauty industry after owning her own salon in Dorset, England. She began making her own natural skincare products back in 2012 to cater for her sensitive skin. She did a lot of research and delved into what customers really want, a brand they could trust – then set up BAO skincare. Here is what it says on her website –
