Hi Beauties,

Been super busy lately so excuse my absence from the blog but I am super excited that I’m a judge for the CertClean Beauty Awards 2019! I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be chosen for such a worthy role.

The Raw Beauty Box Edition by Look Fantastic

Raw beauty box by Look Fantastic

Hi Beauties,

April has been quite the month for beauty boxes! The Raw Beauty Box Edition by Look Fantastic was irresistible to me so I had to get it. Last week I had The Cruelty Free Beauty Box review and next week I have yet another fab organic and natural beauty box on the way!!! So excited, I love subscription boxes. They are a lovely gift to yourself for some self care and who doesn’t love getting a gift-wrapped pressie full of gorgeous goodies in the post?

I think I am becoming a bit of a subscription box addict now. That is 4 this month, I can’t believe it. I won’t divulge what the next two are but they are all great value and full of natural, organic skincare and makeup. The “Raw” Beauty Box Edition by Look Fantastic is a one-off special edition since they don’t normally do a 100% pure/natural box. They do often feature natural products but this is a real treat so I had to grab one! read more

I reached out to them as they are one of my top fave brands of the moment and luckily for moi, I got to sample some new items. BAO stands for Beth’s Aromatherapy Organic and that speaks for itself. I currently use the BAO Hydrating Rose Mist every morning and love it.

The lovely Beth, who is the creator of BAO skincare generously offered me a couple of free products to sample in exchange for an honest review. Needless to say I was over the moon to be trying out some gorgeous new natural beauty goodies. BAO natural skincare is handmade with love from 100% natural and nourishing ingredients. Henna Hair Dye for Natural, Shiny & Beautiful Locks

a henna hair pic

This week I am talking about henna hair dye for natural, shiny and beautiful locks. So a couple of weeks ago I was away in Morocco and decided to have my hair dyed professionally with henna. Not many hairdressers use it these days so I was delighted to have the opportunity to get it done in Morocco where it is still used regularly. I had hoped to find somewhere that did it, since I noticed there were lots of henna tattoo places around.

Luckily, there was a spa around the corner from where we were staying that had a hairdressers. I asked them and they were happy to use henna hair dye instead of the standard chemical kind. Although not that commonly used as a hair dye, they often obliged when people asked. They informed me the process would take a little longer than usual due to the extra time it takes to prepare and apply. They asked me if I had ever used henna before and I assured them I had. read more
