Hope you’re all keeping well. I haven’t been on the blog for a while because we’ve been renovating our new house, but I took a little break today. I was chuffed to receive my Hunu collapsible pocket cup in the post yesterday.
Thanks to the lovely people over at Hunu I was able to have my coffee on the go this morning!
The great thing about the Hunu collapsible cup is that it fits compactly in your pocket or bag and is light as a feather. It comes with a little heatproof band for when using with hot drinks to protect your hand. That wraps around the cup when its folded down so it’s really compact for traveling.
It is made of eco friendly materials such as BPA-free FDA and LFGB certified food grade silicone. It is also free from Phthalates and all other nasty chemicals. The lid is made of bamboo fibre and resin.
It has a little plug attached to the band and is completely leak proof once folded and plugged. That means you an pop it back in your bag or pocket without any worry of spillage!
It folds down into a size depth of only 2cm and there are two sizes to choose from. The 9oz (265ml) cup fits most size of barista coffee.
They’re dishwasher safe and without the lid or band, can go in the freezer or microwave. It’s easy to clean and the band can be hand washed if it needs to be.
This is great for having your coffee on the go, smoothies or shakes, juice, water or any beverage really. I was delighted to have it for my morning coffee this morning.
We have a coffee machine at the restaurant so I was able to make my cappuccino and bring it with me to grab a croissant and head up to the house.
I imagine this will be a huge hit with backpackers, campers, hikers and anyone who travels. It’s fantastic for anyone who grabs a coffee on the way to work and also tea lovers like myself.
For kids this is so handy when you go to a restaurant, if there are only glasses available (happens a lot in France) or you are out and about and you buy a juice with a round lid at that age when they need a sippy cup. Saves space, hassle and the possibility of spillages! Awesome.
On top of all that its actually a really chic design and I got a gorgeous color sage green. I am sure people will be asking me about it when they see it out and about.
It was launched on Kickstarter and within a month had become one of the most successful crowdfunded products in history. So successful it can now be found in 70 countries!
