Hunu Collapsible Pocket Cup

Hi Friends,

Hope you’re all keeping well. I haven’t been on the blog for a while because we’ve been renovating our new house, but I took a little break today. I was chuffed to receive my Hunu collapsible pocket cup in the post yesterday.

Thanks to the lovely people over at Hunu I was able to have my coffee on the go this morning!

The great thing about the Hunu collapsible cup is that it fits compactly in your pocket or bag and is light as a feather. It comes with a little heatproof band for when using with hot drinks to protect your hand. That wraps around the cup when its folded down so it’s really compact for traveling. read more

Hello Beauties,

Today I am happy to bring you a review of this amazing 100% natural skincare by Moor Spa. As you may know I am a huge natural skincare fanatic and I am forever raving about the benefits of going ‘au naturel’. I have been trying lots and lots of natural skin care brands over the past 6 years or so since discovering that cutting out harsh chemicals and taking the natural route, cleared my adult acne. Ever since I made that fateful discovery, I have never looked back!

I was a lucky girl to be sent some fabulous and gorgeously branded products by Moor Spa so I have been using the Hydrating serum, the Kelp enzyme mask and the Nourishing facial oil for almost 2 weeks now. I was delighted to finally come across a sustainable contemporary and vintage fashion magazine online called Contemporary Fashion. Fast fashion is one of the worst polluters of our planet today and we need to look at changing our habits.

Contemporary Fashion shows us where to find clothing that is ethically made, sourced and delivered. On top of that, they have fabulous thrifted gear including top designer brands on their site which are readily available online.

They work with lots of ethical and smaller brands who are becoming increasingly popular. A lot of fast fashion items are cheaply made with lower quality fabrics, therefore not built to last. read more

Ethical Gift Shopping at Boostology

Hello my lovely eco-friends,

I have missed my blog so much over the summer! I have been flat-out working crazy hours in our bar and restaurant the whole time. Any free time I managed to squeeze in was spent with the family so I haven’t had any time to write. It feels good to be back at the keyboard at last. Well, the weather has started to change here and I absolutely love autumn as its a great time to snuggle up with a fluffy blanket and light some scented candles.

On that note, in my absence, I have discovered a really lovely online ethical gift shopping site, called Boostology. I happened to hear about them through the Ethical Influencers, a lovely online group who promote ethical businesses like this one. I was delighted to receive a gorgeous gift of a rose water toner mist in the post after getting in touch with them. Let me just say, the customer service is absolutely outstanding for a start! I have to say, when dealing with independent small businesses, the whole experience is usually way more personal. Another great reason to support smaller businesses as opposed to big corporations. read more
