Hi Lovelies,
Today I am sharing with you my AM & PM natural skincare routine. I alternate various natural skincare products so that my skin can get the most benefits from the different ingredients. It is important to establish a routine as far as skincare goes, in my opinion.
I have been trying out some new products lately and I have a few old favourites that I adore so I will show you my exact products and routine and include my everyday makeup too! I have to say, my skin is looking and feeling great right now. So here are my current AM & PM natural skincare routines –
AM Morning Natural Skincare Routine –
If you happened to read my recent post on Face Theory’s Vitamin Superhero kit, you will know I am crazy about this skincare routine! My skin is clearer, pores are minimised and face is glowing since beginning to use these little gems!! I can see why they call them the superheroes. So needless to say, they are part of my everyday routine.
I begin by cleansing my face with the lovely smelling Vitamin C cleanser. I use tepid/warm water to wet my face and a pump of the cleanser to clean my face.
I then pat my face dry and apply the Porebright N10 niacinamide and azelaic acid serum. I pat it over the areas where my pores are enlarged and any red marks. This is generally the t-zone.
Once that has sunk in, after I brush my teeth, I apply the M4 Regenerating Moisturiser over my face and neck. Only a small amount is needed, a little goes a long way.
I head downstairs and make breakfast. Then I apply my Facetheory Sunfragma SPF 25 Melting balm which is a new product from the range. It is a balm type formulation and I will be following up very soon with a full blog post on that! I only started using it this week and so far so good…

I leave that to dry in for around 10 minutes or so and then I apply my Jane Iredale SPF 25 broad spectrum foundation. With the two layers of SPF 25 I then have an overall coverage of SPF 50 so I am happy with that.
Due to the fact that it is a little oily, I set my foundation with a light natural banana setting powder by Bellapierre. I discovered this in the Cruelty Free Beauty Box.
I then follow with my new favourite natural lip balm which is by Frank Body and has a beautiful soft sheen with nourishing ingredients to keep my lips hydrated.
PM Night Time Natural Skincare Routine –
My night time skincare routine is a bit more intense so I like to give myself at least 5 minutes before bed, no matter how tired I am. Although there have been nights when I skipped certain parts or even just did a quick balm cleanse. I do try to stick to this every night though!
If I have been wearing any eye makeup, I remove that with my newfound natural Pure Merveille micellar makeup remover. It is really good at removing mascara and feels really soothing and cool on the eyes. It is gentle and best of all,
First step is makeup removal. I find my cleansers don’t always remove all the makeup and to be honest, I think it is a waste of a good cleanser just to wash off makeup. Especially if it is an expensive one! So I have been using an oil based makeup remover.
I received a sample of the Tropika Skin Coconut cleansing oil in the Cruelty Free Beauty Box and it seems to work very well for makeup removal. You use a few drops of the liquid and cover your face with it, then add a little water. It removes most of the makeup in one go.
I do love my balm cleansers so I either use my Eve Lom cleansing balm or else my Lyonsleaf 100% Natural Cleansing Balm. I really enjoy this ritual of massaging in the balm and letting that do its work for a minute or so, then I will brush my teeth or apply a body lotion while that sinks in.
After a minute or two, I will use an organic muslin cloth dampened with hot water (not too hot) and that melts off leaving a glowing and clean exfoliated face! Blissful.
My new pamperish evening ritual is to use “The Humble Warrior” oil facial cleanser by Skin Alchemists Apothecary (from the Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box). It is a therapeutic experience where you mix a few drops in your palms and inhale the aromatic scent, then massage on to tired skin for a luxurious pick-me-up. Love it!
Once I have finished massaging that in, I reach for my new jade roller. The jade roller is another lovely edition to my routine which I will do a full post on soon as it is new to me and I am still playing around with the best ways to use! All I know is that it feels fab, my skin feels refreshed and it helps with lymphatic drainage which is important.
I tend to leave my skin alone for around 20 minutes or half an hour after and I will get on with preparing for the next day by getting my clothes and the kids things ready for the next day and whatever else I need to do.
I try to find time to apply some lovely BAO body lotion as it is truly amazing and smells gorgeous. I always feel great after applying it and my skin is so soft when using it. I get into my pyjamas and then I am almost set!
Last but definitely not least, I apply my Regenacalm retinol serum right before getting into bed. I don’t use anything else on top of that. My skin benefits immensely from it and I have noticed less wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and a much clearer skin since finding this gem of a serum. Absolute hero holy grail product! See above for a coupon code for 20% off Face Theory.
Finally, around twice a week I use a face mask. I have been trying out some different ones lately so I will do a post on that soon but the Sanoflore aromatic regenerating night mask is one of my faves. It smells really nice and is certified organic. You leave it on overnight and the next morning your skin is hydrated and feeling great. It is quite light and a creamy texture. You only need a small amount.
So that is my current AM & PM natural skincare routine! I have been playing around with some more new oils and I have plenty of subscription box finds to enjoy so stay tuned for more reviews on my faves. Plenty more to come! Ps I actually gave up alcohol a month ago. I will be posting about that very soon too so if you’re interested in hearing about that, do check back or subscribe.
Thanks a mil,
Ciara xxx

What a great routine! I am very interested in learning more about the jade roller.
Thanks, I will be doing a blog post on that soon, i love it!
This post was great! I struggle with knowing what products to use and how to use them. I also struggle with motivation at the end of a long day to spend time doing a night routine. So impressive that you do this every day!
Hi Amy, I was the same for so long! I just really enjoy these lovely rituals now and I think it is a real self care pick-me-up. Especially when you see the results. U should check out the Lyonsleaf balm it is a one product does all type balm. Takes around 2mins tops if you haven’t got time x
This was a fabulous post! I will need to try some of these products! They sound great!!!
Hi Kelly, thanks a mil, glad you like the post. I love this lot, they are all working fab x
I always love seeing what other people do for skincare routines. I love my jade roller, although I don’t use it as much as I should.
Hi Crystal, thats cool, the jade roller is a lovely self care routine. I love it!
Love these! I recently switched over to more of a “clean” routine because I struggle with rosacea and it has really helped!
Hi Leah, that is good to know. I have Rosacea in my family and sometimes used to get redness too. I hardly ever get skin redness anymore since switching to natural products!
