This yummy breakfast or dessert is only 223 calories so feel free to indulge any time! We like the sound of that! Especially me, cos i often feel guilty when i have desserts but i love them so much, why should i have to give them up just because I’m on a diet? Well good news, i don’t and I’m not. So yay for low fat desserts, especially this one as it doesn’t scrimp on taste and its really filling so i will even have it for breakfast since its also super healthy. It just hits the spot and stops those pesky sugar cravings that always get in the way of my weightloss goals. Its simple and quick to make so its great as a dessert when having friends over and quick enough to throw together on your way out in the morning too. Here you go!
INGREDIENTS:
250g FRESH STRAWBERRIES
300g GREEK YOGHURT
30g WALNUTS, CHOPPED
1/2 TSP HONEY
DIRECTIONS:
CHOP THE STRAWBERRIES INTO BITE SIZE PIECES
LAYER THE BOTTOM OF A SMALL GLASS/TUMBLER/WINE GLASS WITH YOGHURT, NUTS AND DRIZZLED HONEY, THEN STRAWBERRIES
REPEAT AND IT WILL LOOK TOO NICE TO EAT ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED
YOU CAN ALWAYS SPRINKLE SOME DARK/WHITE CHOC SHAVINGS ON THE TOP FOR THAT LIL EXTRA
IT ALSO TASTES GOOD WITH RASPBERRIES AND BLUEBERRIES OR PEACHES
YUMM!
If you want something different you can opt for biscuit instead of nuts but that’ll be more cals

I am going to try out a new diet for a week so I’ll be doing another diet diary if you are keen to join in. Its called “A Nutritionists Guide to Losing 10pounds in a week” and i have read a lot about it so i have to give it a go. Its mainly vegetables and fruit for the 1st few days and concentrates on foods that require more energy to burn off the calories than the calories they actually contain. So it really drives your metabolism. I have been on the 5:2 diet for around 5 weeks now and I’m losing weight slowly but surely, but i just really want to accelerate that and not have to fast this week! Theres only one way to find out if it really works so I will start it midweek and i will post as i go along so fingers crossed i can shift 10pounds, i would be ecstatic!! Wish me luck
