Hi Beauties,

Hope you’re all keeping well. I decided to do a post on my current natural skincare regime since I feel I have finally found the right products and my skin has improved immensely. The harsh winter weather took a toll on my skin at the beginning but now I have my skin back to normal so I will share with you my fave natural skincare heroes.

Henna Hair Dye for Natural, Shiny & Beautiful Locks

a henna hair pic

This week I am talking about henna hair dye for natural, shiny and beautiful locks. So a couple of weeks ago I was away in Morocco and decided to have my hair dyed professionally with henna. Not many hairdressers use it these days so I was delighted to have the opportunity to get it done in Morocco where it is still used regularly. I had hoped to find somewhere that did it, since I noticed there were lots of henna tattoo places around.

Luckily, there was a spa around the corner from where we were staying that had a hairdressers. I asked them and they were happy to use henna hair dye instead of the standard chemical kind. The Cruelty Free Beauty Box unopened

Hi Lovelies,

Back again with another review of my fave beauty box, The Cruelty Free Beauty Box – October Edition. You may have read my previous review on it here. I really love their selection and you can actually go on and purchase the individual products through their store so if you love something in the box, you can easily repurchase online. I especially love their ethics, being cruelty free and most of all, taking the hassle out of researching those individual cosmetic companies and their policies makes shopping a whole lot easier. read more

Acure Brilliantly Brightening facial scrub in plastic tube bottle

Hi Beauties,

I have been hearing great things about the Acure range for some time now. I happened to come across the Acure Brilliantly Brightening facial scrub recently and seen a few top reviews. I decided to check it out for myself and I have to say I am so impressed! I normally read the reviews on a certain product before buying just to see what other people are saying and if it will be good for my skin type and so on. I was amazed to see such a high volume of top ratings online, mainly 5 stars and lots of people singing their praises. The Brilliantly Brightening facial scrub was one particular product that appealed to me, so I went ahead and bought it. The range is reasonably priced so that is a huge plus point for starters. It is suitable for all skin types. read more

A lavender bouquet with purple ribbon

Lavender has many uses and benefits for the body and overall wellbeing. Lavender (Lavendula angustifolia) is one of the most common and well known essential oils. It helps regenerate skin cells, promotes healing and helps produce healthier new cells. The sweet, mild aroma has calming properties and is often used for relaxation and as a sleep aid. Lavender oil can reduce stress and anxiety naturally.

It is soothing and healing when used on burns, insect bites and various skin conditions in the form of the floral water. It has antiseptic properties which help promote fast healing and minimise scarring. It can even be used on stings, ulcers, wounds and scrapes for the same reasons. read more
