I am super excited to be reviewing the brand new Regenacalm 3% retinol serum by FaceTheory. If you happen to follow my blog, you will know that i am a huge fan of FaceTheory beauty products. My absolute fave skincare product by FaceTheory is the Regenacalm retinol, which i reviewed previously here. Ever since starting to use the Regenacalm retinol serum on my face, i have noticed smoother skin and, believe it or not, less wrinkles! Apart from those obviously outstanding results, i almost immediately noticed less red marks and hyperpigmentation. I have been hearing great things about the Acure range for some time now. I happened to come across the Acure Brilliantly Brightening facial scrub recently and seen a few top reviews. I decided to check it out for myself and I have to say I am so impressed! I normally read the reviews on a certain product before buying just to see what other people are saying and if it will be good for my skin type and so on. I was amazed to see such a high volume of top ratings online, mainly 5 stars and lots of people singing their praises. I have been taking Niacinamide, Biotin, Spirulina and Omega 3 supplements for the last month and I have noticed great improvement in my skin, hair and nails. My nails are so much stronger and growing so quick now. I had been wanting to try Biotin for quite a while now as I am trying to grow my hair and had read that it is the best supplement to take for that. Biotin seemed to be expensive in most of the health shops but I managed to find a really reasonably priced one online to decided to give it a go. Obviously I won’t notice too much difference in my hair length just yet as it has only been a month but my nails are much stronger, I have had to cut them twice this month! That is impressive, they aren’t even breaking and I’m delighted about that as they were quite brittle before. My hair feels softer, shinier and healthier so I think I will stick with these supplements as my hair was very brittle and dry before and nothing seemed to be working in terms of hair oil masks and deep treatments. I guess I may have been deficient in some vitamins and nutrients. read more

French Green Clay for Great Skin and Hair

I happened to discover the wonder product that is French green clay for great skin and hair, by chance last year. I was in the supermarché one day searching for a good organic face mask product. I rarely get a chance to browse chemists or even online for that matter so I stumbled across this French green clay and was intrigued.

I had never heard of it before but the more I read about it, the more I wanted to try it out. It was relatively inexpensive as it is made locally here in France and considering I live here I was happy to try the brand. There aren’t the many good organic or natural brands available in supermarkets so I was happy to find one. read more
