The Natede by Clairy is a smart air purifying plant pot which removes 93% of bacteria and viruses from the air. It is a stylish multi-functional plant pot that hooks up to your WiFi to give you an immediate analysis of any pollutants in the air.
Recent studies show that indoor air pollution is a whopping 5 times worse than outdoor air pollutants! The World Health Organization has even listed indoor pollution as one of the most dangerous threats to our health. Given the fact that most of us spend 90% of our time indoors, this clever gadget is set to sell like hot cakes!
Apart from being able to monitor an detoxify the air in your living space, it also monitors temperature and humidity. It has a sleek modern design which is timeless and looks fresh and clean. The Clairy is handmade by Italian ceramic artisans, no less.
It comes in a range of trendy colours and the usual black and white but also some sleek metallics so there is one to suit every style and personality. I want one of these!!!! I guess everyone could do with one of these in their lives. I would say most workplaces and public buildings will be incorporating them in the future.
As if that wasn’t enough, Clairy, an LA based company have set up a charity fund for every Clairy sold, they pledge to plant 10 trees and help reforest areas of deforestation. Here is what they say –
We’ve formed a strong partnership with  Eden Projects, a non-profit organization that  helps reforest the world  in developing countries.
They’re great not only because we can all benefit from more trees and better air all over the world, but because  they do it in developing countries, giving hope to the less fortunate.
We donate 10 trees for every Clairy sold, so that  we can all benefit from more trees and better air.
Anyone with breathing problems such as asthma or lung problems will benefit the most, as well as those with allergies.
On top of all that, it is a self-watering plant pot that can water a plant for a month and brilliantly, the filter doesn’t even need to be changed.
Here is a list of common pollutants found in the air taken from the Kickstarter site:
Benzene: used in plastics, rubber, detergents, tobacco smoke, furniture wax and paint.
Xylene: found in printing, rubber, leather and paint industries and vehicle exhausts.
Ammonia: found in window cleaners, floor waxes and fertilizers.
Trichloroethylene: found in printing inks, varnishes, adhesives and paint removers.
Formaldehyde: found in paper bags, facial tissues, paper towels, table napkins and synthetic fibers.
Clairy can clean 80% of a heavy polluted room of 386 cubic feet (36 cubic meters) in only 30 hours from its first start. And the best thing is that it’s all-natural.
