Eco-Friendly Reusable Bamboo Coffee Cup & Straw

reusable coffee cup by WAKEcup

Hi Friends,

Today I am doing a review of my new fave eco-friendly reusable bamboo coffee cup and straw. Sorry I’ve been absent from the blog lately but I have been crazy busy. Moving house, renovating our new bar and restaurant and having guests come to stay. We are opening in just over a week so it has been a tad hectic to say the least! I will be updating you guys on that soon but I want to spread the word about my latest fab finds first!

I am a member of the Ethical Influencers team and as a lovely perk of that, I was given the opportunity to receive a gift of choice from a wonderful eco-friendly and sustainable shop called WAKEcup. They sell a range of sustainable everyday goods that help cut down on single-use plastics. I was delighted to be given the opportunity to try their eco-friendly reusable bamboo coffee cup and straw. read more

The Cruelty Free Beauty Box unopened

Hi Lovelies,

Back again with another review of my fave beauty box, The Cruelty Free Beauty Box – October Edition. You may have read my previous review on it here. I really love their selection and you can actually go on and purchase the individual products through their store so if you love something in the box, you can easily repurchase online. I especially love their ethics, being cruelty free and most of all, taking the hassle out of researching those individual cosmetic companies and their policies makes shopping a whole lot easier. read more

FDA Medical Device Approval Flaws (Red Flags)

A medical device being handled

Hi Everyone,

Today I’m bringing to your attention the important and potentially life-saving information on the FDA medical device approval flaws. Red flags are flying up everywhere when it comes to medical device approval and it is one scary, scary thought. As most of us assume, any medical device that gets inserted into our body has been through rigorous testing and approval to be deemed safe for use on the open market. Unfortunately it is a severely unregulated and under-tested system which is downright dangerous and worrying to the health of the general public. The FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) is the most important consumer regulation but the system in place for medical device regulation and approval doesn’t work. read more
