Today I am bringing you my best beauty devices review. I have been trying and testing various beauty devices for the last year or so. So I decided to review them here on the blog for those of you who may be interested.
First up is the Silkn Revit Essential Dual Action Therapy device. This beauty device combines microdermabrasion exfoliation and vacuum stimulation of the skin.
The microdermabrasion exfoliation is gentle and non-abrasive. It is ideal for home use as you can not damage your skin when used as per the instructions. This promotes smoother and fresher skin, helps improve skin tone and texture. Aids in reducing the appearance of fine lines around the eyes and also reduces the appearance of age spots.
Safety precautions to note :
The device is not to be used by –
People who have Rosacea
Children under the age of 16
People with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, systematic or other metabolic diseases
People who have been prescribed skin drugs in the past 6 months
People with any other condition which, in the opinion of a dermatologist/physician would make it unsafe for you.
Please note : this beauty device can only be used 2 times per week maximum and not to be used on any broken skin
Important: You need to use SPF 30 minimum every day after using this device always after a treatment.
Can be used on the forehead, cheeks, chin, eyes, nose and neck. Work each area 2-4 times in accordance with the user guide.
You are advised to test one small area prior to using the device to make sure your skin wont have an adverse reaction. It is recommended to start on the low suction mode to start for the first 2-3 treatments.
It comes with extra filters that can be changed as needed but they do last quite a while. So far I am really impressed with the Silk’n ReVit Essential beauty device.
My overall review is that it is a perfect way to exfoliate your skin manually, without the use of chemical peels. It gives my skin a glow immediately after use. I noticed a reduction in forehead wrinkles and reduced pore size. It is a great all-rounder as far as beauty devices go. Definitely one I will stick with. I use this once a month and it decongests my skin giving a fresher and more supple result. Massive thumbs up to this!
Next up is the ID Italian Stimulation Cell Professional LED Mask 3 Color Therapy beauty device.
This beauty device uses LED colour light and bioelectricity energy. LED light therapy uses light spectrum through the latest concept of photodynamic therapy for skin metabolism and increases the absorbtion capacity of cosmetic products. So after using the LED mask it is a good idea to use your best beauty products, especially targeted treatments for acne or fine lines such as serums.
The mask uses 3 LED colours : Red, yellow and blue. See below for their unique benefits for your skin –
Red light: Eliminates impurities, cell metabolism, epidermal tissue and collagen production, filling, wrinkles and blood circulation. Helps eliminate blemishes and unify pigmentation to aid in anti-aging and anti-oxidant effect. Activates the oxygenation and vitality of the skin cells.
Blue light: Restores elasticity of the skin and is beneficial for sensitive skin. Eliminates bacteria on the surface of the skin.
Yellow light: Increases the absorption capacity of the skin. Promotes cellular regeneration and the production of collagen. Penetrates the skin with anti-oxidant and anti-aging effect.

My overall review of this device is positive. I noticed clearer skin and a reduction in pore size after use. Results are noticeable after the first use. This is a great alternative to paying big bucks to the beauticians who specialise in LED light therapy which can be extremely costly. This was reasonably priced in a sale and is worth the money in my eyes. I will continue to use it.
Silk’n FaceTite Anti-ageing Face Treatment using HT technology. This beauty device uses 3 kinds of energy that affect the upper layer of skin. LED light energy reaches into the dermis of the skin for rejuvenation and collagen restoration. Bi-polar Radio Frequency (RF) penetrates deep into the sub dermal fat for deep tissue tightening and wrinkle reduction.
Aims to improve skin texture, tighten, restore collagen and reduce wrinkles.
Safety precautions to note:
Do not use if u –
Have a pacemaker, internal defibrillator or any other implant
Have poorly controlled endocrine disorders such as diabetes and thyroid conditions
Have abnormal skin conditions
A current history of cancer or pre-malignant moles
Had sugery in the treatment area within 3 months prior
Suffer from epilepsy
Photosensitivity diseases
Pregnant or nursing
Each area of the face and neck must be treated for 15 minutes. You can treat as many areas as you like in one session. You start off on level 1 to adjust the skin, this will make your skin feel warm. After 5 minutes you can increase up as far as level 5 and it is advised to spend 10 minutes on level 5. I personally do my whole face and neck, avoiding the delicate eye area and lips, in one session of around 15 minutes. I dont really want to spend much longer on a skin treatment
Expect skin redness for around an hour or so after the treatment. It is advised to use the device for 10 weeks, 2 session per week. You will see results after 5 weeks/10 treatments.
My overall review is that the device does indeed lift, tone and firm facial muscles and skin. I noticed my cheekbones seemed more prominant and the shape of my face became slimmer. I have just restarted the sessions again as I feel my face needs a bit of a lift and more shape. So a huge thumbs up to this. I have the older version so I am considering buying the newer version as it sems to be improved. I shall keep you posted on that but it is quite reasonably priced. I tried the microcurrent devices in the past and didnt enjoy using them so this is a great alternative.
