Raw beauty box by Look Fantastic

Hi Beauties,

April has been quite the month for beauty boxes! The Raw Beauty Box Edition by Look Fantastic was irresistible to me so I had to get it. Last week I had The Cruelty Free Beauty Box review and next week I have yet another fab organic and natural beauty box on the way!!! So excited, I love subscription boxes. They are a lovely gift to yourself for some self care and who doesn’t love getting a gift-wrapped pressie full of gorgeous goodies in the post?

I think I am becoming a bit of a subscription box addict now. That is 4 this month, I can’t believe it. I won’t divulge what the next two are but they are all great value and full of natural, organic skincare and makeup. The “Raw” Beauty Box Edition by Look Fantastic is a one-off special edition since they don’t normally do a 100% pure/natural box. They do often feature natural products but this is a real treat so I had to grab one! read more

I had some flaxseeds in the cupboard as I eat them with my cereal in the mornings often. You can buy them in most health food shops. It is a simple process but it is quite messy and takes a bit of time.

Aloe vera is a fantastic product to have in your beauty regime. I wrote an extensive post on the benefits here. Although I regularly use aloe vera gel on my skin, I had never used it in my hair until now. Considering I recently discovered that gel works really well in taming my unruly curls, I decided to give it a go. Firstly though, I will show you how the flax seed gel is made and what my verdict on that was. Here goes… read more

It helps regenerate skin cells, promotes healing and helps produce healthier new cells. The sweet, mild aroma has calming properties and is often used for relaxation and as a sleep aid. Lavender oil can reduce stress and anxiety naturally.

It is soothing and healing when used on burns, insect bites and various skin conditions in the form of the floral water. It has antiseptic properties which help promote fast healing and minimise scarring. It can even be used on stings, ulcers, wounds and scrapes for the same reasons. read more
