Mediterranean Diet Plan (What I’m Eating Daily)
Hi Lovelies,
I have been following the Mediterranean diet for a while now and I’m enjoying the benefits so far. I have just introduced 5:2 intermittent fasting into the mix so I am happy to be losing weight and feeling great. If you want to read more about this diet, check out my previous post on it here “The new 5:2“. The first couple of weeks take a bit of adjusting to since the calorie reduction to 800 is a bit restrictive, but actually it isn’t too bad at all. The newer version of the 5:2 allows 800 calories instead of 500, as it was previously. The extra 300 calories is a lot less difficult to stick to.
A Typical Day on the Mediterranean Diet
Hi Everyone,
I decided to post a typical day on the Mediterranean diet to show how I am progressing and give an idea of what it involves. So far I have been enjoying the Mediterranean diet as it isn’t too restrictive, like previous diets I have tried in the past. It is more of a healthy lifestyle plan than a diet but you lose around 2 pounds a week on average and that is what is considered ‘healthy weight loss’. It is more sustainable than most quick-fix diets and it allows you to eat regular meals and even have a glass of wine with dinner, so for me that is working well. I do love my food and wine!
How to Improve Gut Health Naturally
Hi Lovelies,
Today I’m talking about how to improve gut health naturally, and why it is so important. Maintaining a healthy gut is essential to maintain our overall health so we should be making it a priority. I’ll be honest when I tell you, I hadn’t heard much about maintaining a healthy gut until last year. Gut health was definitely a buzz-word online and in the media so I have done a lot reading up on it. It is most definitely not a passing phase and needs to be on top of our list in terms of staying healthy. I touched off the subject in my recent blog post on Apple Cider Vinegar.
